About Phi Theta Kappa  

Phi Theta Kappa was founded in 1918, by presidents of two-year institutions in Missouri, to recognize academic achievement by their students. Today, Phi Theta Kappa annually inducts 65,000 students in 1,100 chapters, located in all 50 states, Canada, U.S. territorial possessions, and university extensions abroad.

Being a potential nominee for the All-USA Academic Team sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, AACC and USA TODAY, which carries 20 cash awards totaling $50,000, and the opportunity to apply for Phi Theta Kappa internships at the U.S. Department of Education, Washington, D.C.

Being a potential recipient of one of five National Dean's List scholarships of $1,000 each
